Mitacs needed Quantum Training for STEM students, recent graduates, and postdocs—that would allow learners to explore Quantum concepts and bridge theory with practical application—to support Mitacs' alignment of professional skills development with Canada’s National Quantum Strategy.

Course 1
Quantum 101: The Basics
This workshop introduces fundamental concepts in quantum physics relevant to today’s quantum industry.
Course 2
Quantum 102: The Revolution
This workshop explains applications of quantum physics, and the potential it has for creating disruptive technologies, such as quantum computing, sensing, and communication.
Course 3
Quantum Skills and Entrepreneurship
This workshop features guest speakers and gives learners the opportunity to apply coding skills to a quantum computer, as well as find out what it takes to turn an idea into a profitable quantum company.
